The Regional Representation of the European Commission and the House of Peace Foundation are organizing a conference titled “Disinformation – I check!” which will be held on November 8 from 10:00 to 14:00 at the House of Europe at 10 Widok Street in Wroclaw.
During the event, the main topics will include countering polarization and trends, opportunities, and challenges of professional communication. The conference is aimed at professionals from the media, PR industry, and social organizations, as well as influencers.
Partners of the event are: the Central European Digital Media Observatory (CEDMO) and Wroclaw Center for Social Development (WCRS).

What are the types of artificial intelligence? Why does the European Parliament want to divide artificial intelligence by the size of the threat it poses? When and how does artificial intelligence amplify disinformation? How can we use AI to defend ourselves against disinformation? What does it mean that artificial intelligence can violate human rights and threaten democracy? Why is artificial intelligence a business opportunity, and how does it enhance the quality of life? And finally, what competencies should we develop ourselves so that AI is a safe development opportunity for us and does not amplify fake news?
