The new CEDMO 2024/2025 Annual Report, covering the past twelve months, is now available online! It offers a comprehensive overview of activities and research aimed at strengthening society’s resilience to disinformation in Central Europe.
The report reflects the fourth year of the observatory’s operation and the first year of the CEDMO 2.0 project. Among other things, it focuses on the presidential elections in Poland, parliamentary elections in Czechia, the war in Ukraine, climate change, and the development and evaluation of digital regulation implementation.
It provides an overview of trends in the spread of disinformation narratives, the results of CEDMO Trends longitudinal surveys, outputs from international conferences, and activities to promote media literacy in Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. It also includes reflections on developments in deepfake technology and a presentation of the tools we have developed within CEDMO 2.0 to detect manipulative content and support the work of fact-checkers.
