Data on political engagement and activities in the Visegrad Four countries reveal both differences and some similarities. Hungarians and Poles respond similarly to most questions. In contrast, the V4 countries as a whole show a wide range of attitudes, which puts a question mark over the value of this grouping for political analysis. Everywhere in the region we observe a growing disinterest in politics, which has a significant impact on media and political communication.
