The state of information chaos contributes to the polarization of social attitudes and lowers the level of trust in the media. Therefore, it is vital to verify journalists’ knowledge and awareness of the phenomenon of disinformation – especially those journalists who prepare news reports and information for the front pages of newspapers or websites every day.
That’s why we distributed questionnaires to 300 professional news journalists in Poland in order to assess their awareness of disinformation and methods of verifying. Read the resulting study here.
