The report examines the use of news media, social media behaviors, and perceptions of democracy among citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary ahead of the European Parliament elections. Conducted through a CAWI method survey in early 2024, it highlights a shift from traditional to online media, with social media playing a significant role.
