In this research, the team from Palacky University focuses on media literacy and media education, a cross-subject topic within the Curriculum framework for primary (and higher) education taught in various forms in primary/ lower secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The research comprises several key aspects: Which media Czech teachers perceive as trusted and non-trusted and which media they follow on a regular basis, where they get information for lessons from, and whether and how they use YouTube. Another part focuses on disinformation – the researchers assessed the skill of Czech teachers to identify common disinformation content in the online space.
